The Abrasive Wheels training course offered by Clive Kelly Safety is in accordance with the requirements of Abrasive Wheels Safety in Industry Regulations 1982 (SI No. 30/1982). The course covers safe selection, mounting and safe use of abrasive wheels (consaws and angle grinders).
Please note that machinery for all courses is provided by the trainee on the trainee’s premises.
The Abrasive Wheels course is of up to 3 hours duration based on a group of twelve (12) to fourteen (14) persons. The certification is valid for 3 years.
Abrasive wheels training is offered in Counties Clare, Galway, Limerick and Tipperary and surrounding Counties.
At the end of the training course participants should have the ability carry out the safe selection, mounting and safe use of abrasive wheels (consaws and angle grinders) in accordance with the relevant regulations.
